Craig Bunch again underlined his value to Peacehaven in this
hard fought match. His double strike in the second half saw off
a determained Hailsham on a night when the Tye were streched to
the limit.
With seven players ruled out, Pete Edwards handed starts to Ben
Wheatland and Rob O'Toole. The best chance of the first half
fell to Ben Swetman, but he was unable to seriously trouble Mark
Oldroyd.
The pace quickened in the second half as Peacehaven began to
gain the upper hand. Their cause was helped when Hailsham's Ryan
Alexander was sent off.
Peacehaven took the lead with ten minutes remaining, as Callum
Wilshire played in Bunch, who finished superbly.
Dave Harris went agonisingly close to equalising for Hailsham
with a stooping header, but from their next attack Peacehaven
wrapped up a fifth successive win. Andy Wilkinson played in
Bunch for another excellent finish.
