Neither Steyning Town nor Midhurst & Easebourne will be relegated from County League Division 2 under the proposed constitution of the County League which will be recommended at the League’s A.G.M. on Tuesday, 22nd June at Horsham YMCA F.C.

As expected, Sidley and Rye United are both promoted to Division 1 while Crowborough and Hailsham are spared relegation, although Mile Oak do go down. Worthing United are not promoted from Division 2, Bosham are not coming up from Division 3 (although they are appealing against that), while Hurstpierpoint will not be relegated from the league.

Proposed Constitution :-

Division 1: Arundel, Chichester, Crawley Down, Crowborough, East Grinstead, Eastbourne United, Hailsham Town, Hassocks, Lingfield, Pagham, Peacehaven & Telscombe, Redhill, Ringmer, Rye United, Selsey, Shoreham, Sidley United, St Francis Rangers, Three Bridges, Wick.

Division 2: AFC Uckfield (formerly Wealden), Bexhill United, Clymping, East Preston, Lancing, Little Common, Littlehampton Town, Loxwood, Midhurst & Easebourne, Mile Oak, Oakwood, Rustington, Seaford, Southwick, Steyning, Storrington, Westfield, Worthing United.

Division 3: Barnham, Bosham, Broadbridge Heath, Dorking Wanderers, Ferring, Forest, Haywards Heath, Hurstpierpoint, Ifield Edwards, Newhaven, Pease Pottage, Rottingdean Village, Saltdean, Sidlesham, TD Shipley, Uckfield Town.
