The Reserves earned their first point of the season today after a hard fought 1-1 draw with Eastbourne United. Finding himself without a keeper in the morning, Manager Richard Whittington (right) even had to come out of retirement and pull his gloves back on for this one !!

The early signs where encouraging as Matt Rozzier thundered home the opening goal after just 3 minutes. Despite being on top for most of the first half, we were unable to capatalise and led by the single goal at the break.

Eastbourne came more and more into the game during the second half, and eventually levelled on 77 minutes.
