Peacehaven & T. Res.  5  St Francis Rangers Res.  0

After only managing one draw from their opening 3 games, the 2nd Team's season exploded into life today with a comprehensive 5-0 win against St Francis Rangers in the Sussex Intermediate Cup.

New signing Daniel McDonnell made his debut in goal, and Peacehaven where ahead after 17 minutes when Jake Powell played in Darren Wall, who calmly slotted the ball past the keeper.

He added to his tally 14 minutes later after running onto a pass from Jack Loraine and firing in hard and low from the right side of the penalty area. Five minutes into the second half, Darren Wall completed his hat-trick when he beat the keeper to a long ball over the top and curled a shot right footed into the far corner of the empty goal.

There was no way back for St Francis from there, and Jack Loraine added to their misery 10 minutes later. Sam Wells picked him out with a good pass, and he slotted the ball past the oncoming keeper.

The scoring was wrapped up 10 minutes from time with a goal from substitute Matt Rozzier.

In the 2nd Round, the Reserves now travel to TD Shipley who beat Bexhill United Reserves 15-0 at home in todays meeting !!
