PEACEHAVEN TO HOST THE LEAGUE CUP
SEMI-FINAL
We are delighted to announce that
Piddinghoe Avenue has been selected as the
neutral venue for this season's John O'Hara
League Cup, Semi-Final, between Rustington and
Rye United. The match will be played on Tuesday,
15th March.
This follows extensive ongoing
improvements to our facilities, including the
construction of a Boardroom, a complete overhaul
of the Clubhouse, and enclosure of the existing
covered area.
Work has now started on the new 150
seat stand on the north side of the ground,
and although sadly it won't be ready for the
Semi-Final, it will be completed by late March /
early April.
Plans are also in place to
install a toilet block within the ground,
separate from from the existing ones within the
Clubhouse.
The winners of the match between
Rustington and Rye United will go on to meet
either Crawley Down or Three Bridges in the
Final on Good Friday.
