MATCH FACTS BELOW
For the second time in 2
weeks, these two sides produced a thrilling,
end-to-end game of football - but this time
there was to be no dismissals, and it was to be
Peacehaven who came away with the points.
Connor Saunders and Harrison
Cullinane returned to the starting line-up after
being rested last week, but Peacehaven looked
nervous in the early stages, and were giving the
ball away far too cheaply.
Like last week, the game was
played at a high tempo, with both sides
going all out for the points. The first real
chance fell to Jimmy Thompson after he met
Charlie Miles in-swinging corner but his effort
was just wide of the target.
After some good defending
against a home attack which always looked
dangerous, Peacehaven's next chance came 5
minutes from the break when Freddie Barker's
jinking run past two defenders got him in on
goal, but his shot failed to test the keeper. |
