Match details below
The Reserves travelled to East Preston on
Saturday, knowing a victory would put them
within touching distance of a cluster of sides
above them. Although they were never in front
during the game, they fought back from 2 goals
down, only to see a point snatched from them in
the last minute - for the 5th time this season!
Jake Buss and Matt Fleming made
their first starts of the season, whilst new
signing Dan Poulter also came into the line-up,
but they found themselves a goal down after 15
minutes when a corner wasn't cleared properly an
angled cross was glanced in to open the scoring.
East Preston doubled their lead
10 minutes from the break when they broke down
the left wing, and the ball was pulled back into
the area and then scrambled home, leaving
Peacehaven with a huge task ahead of them.
Two minutes before half time the
deficit was reduced when a through ball from
Chris Hoad found Matt Fleming and he chipped
over the keeper to make it 2-1. |
